Capital Weekender stage announced + more artists added to the Saturday!

After last years hailed success, Capital FM will once again be touching down on Clapham Common for the August Bank Holiday Weekend. As well as hosting our stacked outdoor main stage across both days, they'll be curating one of our more intimate indoor stages on Day One, the Capital Weekender!

A name that is all to familiar on the Capital airwaves, Example will also be making his return to Clapham Common on Day One. A true SW4 fan favourite, the London born and bred stalwart has created many unforgettable moments on Clapham Common over the last few years and he never fails to deliver when he comes into town. The last 12-months has demonstrated his love for the dance floor with a sold out UK tour, with the highlight taking place at the iconic Ministry of Sound.

Joining Capital will be eight artists of the highest calibre, fresh from releasing hit after hit over the last 18 months that have been standout tracks on Capital’s airwaves. Sigala, one of the UK’s leading hit makers and famed for his stunning shows who boasts an incredible six top 10 UK hits and a UK Dance No.1 debut album, will be hitting the Common for an overdue maiden appearance and what better way than to headline the Capital weekender stage. Another debutant will be Elderbrook, one of the most unique and diverse artists to derive from the thriving UK house scene over the last few years.

In addition, the ‘More Than Friends’ star and mixmaster James Hype joins the bill after a stunning main stage slot last year, alongside rising European electronic heavyweight Martin Jensen, ‘First Time’ hitmakers M-22 and the incredible talent Dynoro for SW4 debuts. Completing the line-up will be Capital’s very own Rio Fredrika and Sarah Story ready to set the perfect atmosphere with the biggest hits from the station. Get ready for Capital on the Common!
