After a lot of planning, we’re excited to finally reveal details of South West More, the official after-parties following the festival. Taking place at one of the UK’s favourite venues, and just a stone’s throw away from Clapham Common, the brilliant auditorium Electric Brixton will host the all-night parties and continue the madness we’ve got lined up for you on during the day.
SOUTH WEST MORE – SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST AT ELECTRIC BRIXTON
(EXCLUSIVE 3 HOUR SET)
Headlining our hotly-anticipated South West More party will be one of the world’s favourite electronic artists and DJs, with some of the most diverse musical stylings in the industry, Eric Prydz. Following his unbelievable back-to-back performance with deadmau5 after SW4 in 2014 and with Nic Fancuilli in 2015, we simply had to invite back Eric Prydz back for what promises to be another remarkable South West More experience. With Eric playing the festival on SW4 Sunday as his dark and twisted Cirez D alias, this is your only opportunity to witness the Pryda boss in his more traditional environment with his trademark sounds. As a true SW4 her and hall of famer, this rare opportunity to witness his brilliance in such an intimate venue is going to be in huge demand.
Also appearing at our after-party will be Drumcode favourite Alan Fitzpatrick who, thanks to his creative take on techno and stand-out soundscapes that move your mind, body and soul, has been invited to play at the world’s most prestigious locations. Alan Fitzpatrick has been universally touted as one to watch this year, after his stunning live performances and releases on Drumcode in 2015, and we can’t wait to see the British DJ and producer join us at South West More and take us on a deep, dark, mesmerising musical journey into the early hours of the morning
Completing our fabulous South West More line-up will be Newcastle—born, world-traveller Cristoph, whose hypnotic DJ sets; integrating techno, house, groove and basslines that keep you dancing all night long, have taken him from the North of England and flung him into superstardom. With appearances set to take place across four continents this summer alone, Cristoph is a true original, and one we are excited about catching at our South West More after-party!
SOUTH WEST MORE – SUNDAY 28TH AUGUST AT ELECTRIC BRIXTON
DENSE & PIKA
This year marks the thirteenth appearance of John Digweed at South West Four, and thanks to his stellar reputation of entertaining Clapham Common, we couldn’t think of nobody better to headline South West More Sunday for the official afterparty. This DJ and Producer has continued to break boundaries over the course of his twenty-year career, and it shows, with his sets going down in history as some of the best ever at SW4, and his record label, Bedrock going from strength to strength. From Ibiza to Coachella via everywhere in between, wherever John goes he brings a whole new level of performance and we cannot wait for him to take over Electric for what promises to be one of the best nights in SW4 history.
Hailed amongst the true greats of electronic music and ranked within its most influential characters, SW4 is honoured to welcome back Danny Tenaglia for his first performance at the festival in eight years and in another UK festival exclusive. With the legend here for an ultra-rare UK performance, we simply had to invite him to play the official afterparty as our very special guest. This official after-hours session will see Danny deliver his trademark sounds using his pioneering methods in an intimate setting to form a truly unmissable night. This will be Danny’s first London club performance in over a year meaning the demand to witness his brilliance in such a special environment is going to be huge. Having spent his summer entertaining the masses of Ibiza including Carl Cox’s Final Chapter at Space, Paradise at DC-10 plus standout performances at Detroit’s Movement and Kappa Music Festival, we can’t wait to welcome Danny to Electric Brixton.
Also appearing at our exclusive South West More afterparty will be Italian DJ and producer Ilario Alicante. His rise to fame has been meteoric – debuting at Time Warp at the record-breaking age of fifteen, and now having played worldwide and produced records for labels as iconic as Sven Väth’s Cocoon imprint, he might be at the top of his game, but Ilario Alicante shows no signs of slowing down! Touring the world can’t be easy, and even though he’s playing at eight different European hotspots this summer alone, Ilario Alicante makes it look easy! His heavy, robotic take on electronic music makes for consistently fascinating and enjoyable listening, and we can’t wait to hear this legend spin for ourselves when he arrives in Brixton.
Techno duo Dense & Pika do not just make music, but they live it. Touring on a weekly basis means that they’ve played in some of the most legendary venues in the world, from Space in Ibiza to elusive Berlin club Berghain and with London now firmly marked on the map as there next move, their arrival is huge. Their intense, hard-hitting techno tracks have taken them on an incredible journey to the top of the underground techno music scene, and have made them a cult favourite amongst those in the know, and their mixing skills keep crowds dancing week after week. We simply can’t wait for the whirlwind that is Dense & Pika to drop down at South West More.
